Featured Article: Search Engine Optimization: Fact & Fiction
In a previous article, I briefly touched on some of the things you can do to improve your website’s rankings in search engines. In “Search Engine Optimization: Fact & Fiction”, SEO expert Adrian Mullen sheds more light on this topic and provides plenty of tips to make your site more visible on the three most popular search engines: Google, Yahoo and MSN. You’ll also learn about things you may be doing on your site that could be hurting your rankings.
NoteWay Control Panel Updates
Last week we made some “under the hood” changes to the NoteWay control panel, which will make it easier to add new features to the system in the future. One new feature that’s already available is the ability to have your own custom “footer text” (the text that appears at the bottom of every page on your site). This can be useful if you want to display your contact information on every page, for example.
To add or edit your custom footer text, from the “Main Menu” in the control panel, select “Website Appearance”, then “Change footer text”. Enter your desired text and click “Save Changes”.
